Healing from trauma takes time. Building job skills takes practice. Finding stability takes support. The Brave Way Gives You
All Three For a Full Year.
The Brave Way
The Journey: Three Pathways Over One Year
Pathway 1: ETCH Healing Path
4 Months of Stabilization and Rebuilding
This is where healing begins. In ETCH, you will focus on rebuilding confidence and developing tools to regulate emotions and cope with life's challenges.
This phase is about creating a foundation so that everything else can build on solid ground.
What You'll Experience:
- Art and creative expression projects that help you process emotions and discover strengths
- Early workforce skill-building to start thinking about what's next
Pathway 2: EMERGE Workforce Development Path
4 Months of Building Job Skills and Confidence
In EMERGE, you'll start building the practical skills employers are looking for: customer service, communication, professionalism, and how to navigate workplace culture.
This path is about learning how to manage stress on the job, advocate for yourself, and show up consistently even when things are hard.
What You'll Experience:
- Hands-on training in customer service, retail basics (like POS systems and inventory), and workplace expectations
- Social-emotional skill-building to help you manage stress, communicate professionally, and build relationships at work
Pathway 3: EMBODY Employment + Retention Path
4 Months of Starting Work and Staying Strong
In EMBODY, you'll transition into employment, and we'll still be with you. Starting a new job is exciting, but it can also bring new stresses. You won't have to figure it all out alone. Your case manager will continue working with you one-on-one to support job retention, help you navigate challenges, strengthen your financial stability, and keep you moving toward long-term success.
What You'll Experience:
- Personalized support as you start working, help with schedules, workplace issues, stress management
- Financial coaching to manage your paycheck, plan for expenses, and build savings
- Barrier support for unexpected challenges (transportation issues, emergency expenses, etc.)
- Continued connection and accountability so you don't face struggles alone
You don’t have to be perfect.
You have to be willing.
