Brave Works is always looking for volunteers. Right now Brave Works needs volunteers to help:

  • - At our events and concerts
  • - Distribute community mailers or door hangers
  • - Contact the Press in the various communities where we have programs
  • - Host a fundraiser
  • - Help a Vet and their family in your area when we need someone to drive a family member to a doctor's appointment, run to the grocery store or even watch the children for a few minutes or walk the dog if for some reason no family member can do it that day
  • - Help run print projects in Brave Work's administrative office
  • - Run simple errands for the organization
  • - Do graphic artwork if you are a graphic artist

Brave Works saves tens of thousands of dollars each year thanks to the generous aid of individuals and students who participate in Brave Work's internship program. Brave Works is currently looking for interns with expertise in the following areas:

  • - Social Media
  • - Market Research and Analysis
  • - Public Relations and Communications
  • - Grant Proposal Writing
  • - Graphic Arts
  • - Cause Marketing
  • - Government Relations
  • - Event Coordination

Do you have a story about a Vet or a person who, without recognition, does things to help Veterans and/or their families you'd like to share? We'd love to post your story or stories on our website and in our future Brave Works newsletters.

By sharing your stories with us we show the world what truly makes America great are simple acts of kindness or the real sacrifices our brave men and women who serve make for us every day — not only in big ways but small ways as well.

Simply write down your story and send it to us, along with any photos you'd also like us to include and we'll do our best to post it on our website or in our newsletter with your permission.
